still waiting, le khan.

Well, if you created a wraith, you must be very handy at the forge! I'd never attempt those steel sabatons (had to look that word up). Alex had me make him a wraith costume during one of the years LotR was in theaters. I couldn't believe there were no ready-made Nazgul costumes at local shops. Anyway, with no pattern and a quickly growing Alex, it took me long enough that it was too short by the time I finished. He just wore sneakers.

Found that there are some boots available for around $40. At twice that price (and less than the $300 - $800 range), Minnetonka has the best boots. I don't think we'd do much with them; he's already sufficiently riveted, studded, grommeted, and mailled. The boots are better left understated.

I hope TheKhan has not had a serious head injury. I can't think of any other reason why someone would toy with you for so long.

not at all! i had no time, so i made due with maybe 10 yards each of various black fabric of any type i could get, some black rubber gloves and boots, and black long underwear. i got one of those hooded masks that you can see out of but can't see into. i also bought some silvery vinyl for the "armor," but ran out of time. it rained that year and everything got soaked, which was good for the authentic wear, but then they got put away and i never saw them again!

ooh, minnetonkas! i want some mocs.

my patience wears thin, le khan.
